It's hard to believe our Polly x Cheddar puppies are now six weeks old!

The past few weeks have flown by, and the puppies are becoming more confident, curious and mischievous every day. Their personalities are really starting to shine through, and no two puppies are quite the same.

This week was a very big milestone for some very little puppies. We headed to The Vet Surgery, Yarrambat for health checks, vaccinations, microchipping and DNA swabs. It was a busy day, but everyone handled it beautifully and we're pleased to report that all puppies received a clean bill of health 🤎

Life at Cutecurl is very different now compared to those sleepy newborn days. The puppies spend most of their days outside exploring, playing and investigating every corner of their puppy yard. They have even decided that after-dinner outdoor adventures are excellent fun, regardless of whether it's dark outside or not 😅

They've also developed some favourite hobbies:

🐾 Hanging from my dressing gown

🐾 Attacking the broom whenever it appears

🐾 Wrestling matches involving enthusiastic games of "bitey face"

🐾 Stealing toys from their siblings

🐾 And loudly informing everyone if breakfast is even slightly delayed

Despite all the activity, they still have their sweet moments. After a busy play session they'll often collapse into puppy piles, completely exhausted from the important work of growing up.

Polly continues to be a wonderful mum. She's gradually encouraging the puppies to become more independent while still checking in regularly to make sure everyone is where they should be.

The next few weeks will be filled with more adventures, visitors, learning experiences and plenty of cuddles as we prepare these puppies for life with their new families.

It's a special stage of puppy raising — busy, noisy, occasionally chaotic, and completely wonderful 🤎
